The Overview combines the most recent values available at each monthly checkpoint.
Header filters
You can switch between:
- everything or financial assets only;
- including or excluding liabilities;
- all Entities or one Entity, when multiple Entities exist;
- display currencies.
These filters change the current cards and charts without changing stored data.
Headline totals
Gross assets is the converted value of all included financial and physical assets.
Liabilities is the converted outstanding debt.
Total net worth equals gross assets minus liabilities. The header may show month-over-month change when a previous checkpoint exists.
Net worth over time
Choose Last year, Last 5 years, Year to date, All time, or a custom date range. Year-over-year growth compares the latest net worth with the closest available checkpoint from roughly 12 months earlier. It is hidden when the older value is zero or negative.
Real growth
Nominal growth is adjusted by official CPI for the selected inflation country. Hugo also shows money-supply growth as a separate, more conservative reference when data is available. These are different lenses, not interchangeable facts.
Maximum drawdown
Hugo scans the full series for the largest decline from a prior peak. If the series later reaches that peak again, it reports recovery time in calendar months; otherwise it says the drawdown has not yet recovered.
